  Medal of Honor Web Site

http://www.army.mil/medalofhonor/

On March 29, 2005 the White House announced the President will be presenting the Medal of Honor to the widow of Sergeant First Class Paul R. Smith on April 4, 2005.

We have developed the above site over the past ten days dedicated to this first Medal of Honor recipient of the Global War on Terrorism and the Medal of Honor itself.

Please peruse and the site as it is the only known government web site about this brave Soldier's gallant efforts. The site features the entire series of events as well as a flash-based battle scene, information about the unit long with actual interviews with unit members to be added in the very near future.

We welcome your links to the site and any more advertising you can do to get this Soldier's story told.

Thanks,
